Îacaré was born from a family legacy of entrepreneurs guided by vision, integrity and respect. In 2012, the founder’s family envisioned a new future for the Pantanal: a regenerative, circular model that could strengthen the region while protecting its biodiversity and fragile ecosystems.
From this vision came a pioneering farm, the only certified caiman operation of its kind in the world. Every skin is sourced responsibly through conservation-focused practices that support animal welfare and empower local communities through training and fair employment. The Founder
Sarah Maria Gutiérrez founded Îacaré with a singular vision: to unite the untamed beauty of the Pantanal with the timeless excellence of Italian craftsmanship.

Only Florence’s master artisans, guardians of centuries-old savoir-faire, could transform it into timeless creations.
